In Linux, all tasks from execution of services to loading and unloading of modules are carried out by programs and all programs need to be executed. You use the commands to access all the basic features of kernel. Shell scripting is a way to automate such tasks, and bash is one of the language, that has capabilities enough to be called as scripting as well as a language that can be used for programming on the POSIX platform, for small tasks.  Bash Scripting Combine String Variables

Get Arguments from Command Line

You can easily combine string variables in bash. Create a file named “string_combine.sh” and add the following script to check how you can combine string variables in bash by placing variables together or using ‘+’ operator.

#!/bin/bash
string1="Hacking"
string2="Truth"
string3=".org"
echo "$string1$string2$string3"
string4=$string1+$string2+$string3
string5=$string1$string2$string3
string5+=" is my favourite tutorial blog site"
echo $string5

Run the file with bash command.
